You may have heard about the hype surrounding Digital Radio. In a world first event, on August 6th, Australia’s favourite radio stations all broadcast from the one venue in each of the capital cities now transmitting digital radio (Martin Place, Sydney; Federation Square, Melbourne; Reddacliffe Place, Brisbane; Victoria Square, Adelaide and Forrest Place, Perth).

The launch was a great success, with a listening post set up to allow the public to hear and play with a large range of digital radios, as well as the opportunity to meet a host of on air celebrities. There was also a digital radio competition which offered the chance to win a number of digital radios.
